Hayley Kiyoko is an American singer/songwriter (and even actress on occasion). She’s won many awards on her way up the charts, including Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2018, as well as the Rising Star award from Billboard Women in Music. Her music can best be described as synth pop, or “dream pop” – a newer musical genre that simply gets into your head and stays there.
Sat, Feb 8, 12:30 – 8:00 PM

Austin is one of the most lively, interesting places to visit while in Texas. With so much to see, do and experience, why not add a festival or two to your itinerary. The following are a few Austin festivals that you should consider visiting on your next trip. They are sure to add a more local, personable experience to your visit.
Come experience “Where Weird Meets Western” at Austin Rodeo. This event hosts one of Austin’s largest carnival experiences. You’ll get to be a kid again while enjoying everything that a southern rodeo would offer. Started back in 1938 as a small stock animal show, now this festival includes, music and live performances, good BBQ, dancing, a livestock show and much more. Rodeo Austin is offering a new event, Kick Open the Chutes -Party on the Dirt, where with the purchase of a ticket, you’ll get to experience the behind the scenes workings of a rodeo. You’ll get access to the rodeo arena floor, and you’ll enjoy a silent auction, great food and concerts.
If you are looking to take a walk on Austin’s weird side, a visit to Eeyore’s Birthday Party is a must. Held in Pease Park, this is Austin’s hippy festival that has been going strong since the 1960s. This party is truly a celebration of the birthday of Winnie the Pooh’s forlorn friend, Eeyore. At this party, you’ll enjoy drum circles, acoustic music, food and games. Those partaking in the birthday party are encouraged to come dressed in the most outlandish getups possible. There is even a prize for the weirdest costume. Sticking to its hippy, peace and love roots, this festival donates much of the funds earned to local non-profits.
The Hot Luck Festival is where culinary delights and musical mayhem combine to form an annual Memorial Day weekend event. This festival features any type of food that you could desire from wings to ramen and sushi. Set you taste buds afire with all the delicious food varieties while you enjoy an eclectic mix of music from artists around the country. There is a good reason that this festival has been referred to as “the best food festival in the country.”You’ll have to make your way to Austin over Memorial Day weekend to experience all that Hot Luck Festival has to offer.
