You can find trick-or-treating at special events including the St. HELLmo Halloween Party taking place at St. Elmo Brewing Company. Do not let the name scare you from missing out on this incredible Halloween bash. This annual event usually takes place the Saturday before Halloween and offers a ton of fun. From noon to 6:00 PM the day of the event, you will experience an all-ages extravaganza. There will be a costume contest on hand with prizes to win. Of course, you are here to find some trick-or-treating for your children. The St. HELLmo Halloween Party offers a trick-or-treating area where the kids will be able to collect all kinds of tasty candy. Additional activities at the event also include face painting and arts and crafts. After 6:00 PM, the St. HELLmo Halloween Party becomes an adults-only bash with karaoke, horror movies, drink specials, and a lot more. Get ready for this year’s St. HELLmo Halloween Party taking place only at St. Elmo Brewing Company.
Boo & Brew at The Arboretum
Another great event that also features trick-or-treating is the annual Boo & Brew located over at The Arboretum. This family friendly event also takes place the Saturday before Halloween and features fun activities for all ages. Activities at the event include trick-or-treating along with live music, local vendor booths, face painting, and much more. Of course, the adults can also grab a pint of their favorite beer too. Trick-or-Treat Trail at San Gabriel Park
One of neighboring communities here by Austin is found over in Georgetown. The City of Georgetown’s Parks and Rec Department puts on their Trick-or-Treat Trail over at San Gabriel Park each year. This free event is fun for the whole family and will help you enjoy the Halloween season in style. As the name suggests, the Trick-or-Treat Trail is a fun trick-or-treating area for the young children in the family. The children are encouraged to show up in their best costumes ready to be handed all kinds of tasty candy. In addition to trick-or-treating, the event also features games and Halloween related activities. Food trucks will be on hand to dish out some of the most delicious food you have ever had. The trick-or-treat trail runs from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, giving the kids plenty of time to accrue as much candy as possible. Stick around San Gabriel Park after the trail ends for a Halloween related movie starting at 7:00 PM; Coco was shown last year, so who knows what family friendly movie will be shown this year? Trick-or-Treat Trail at San Gabriel Park has yet to announce the date of this year’s event, but keep your eyes peeled for this community favorite!
Trick-or-Treat at the Hill Country Galleria
Another great community nearby Austin that is hosting a trick-or-treat bash for the kids is Hill Country Galleria located over in Bee Cave. This annual occasion takes place from noon to 3:00 PM at this shopping center. Guests are able to pick up a delightful festive pumpkin bag over in Central Plaza and then trick-or-treat down Hill Country Boulevard. Your kids will be able to collect candy and treats from your favorite retailers right here in Hill Country Galleria. Make sure to arrive early, as the candy will only last for so long! This event typically is held the Saturday before Halloween, so make sure to keep an eye out for additional details for 2024.
